About me
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mahmoud Khalid Almsafir, a Malaysian citizen with Arab descent, is married to an Iraqi statistician and has two sons and one daughter.
Currently working as the CEO of Lusail Educational Organization and Chairman of Design for Scientific Renaissance Sdn Bhd, and chairing the board of Governors of ALNOOR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS in Kuala Lumpur and Kuantan in Malaysia.
Retired from UNITEN University on 3rd May 2017, joined University Tenaga National as Associate Professor of Economics in 2009. From September 2011 until his retirement, he headed the Global Business Centre/ Graduate Business School/ College of Graduate Studies, and also served as the coordinator of the Ph.D. program, from April 2013 to April 2015. During his tenure in UNITEN, Dr. Almsafir has supervised 15 Ph.D. students and over 20 Master’s students.
